University of Technology in association with Regional College Celebrates World Environment Day
The University of Technology and Regional College stole the spotlight creating waves of excitement as they celebrated World Environment Day in a grand and unforgettable way. Together, they orchestrated a series of thrilling programs that aimed to preserve and protect our precious environment. The event kicked off with great enthusiasm as Dr. Anshu Surana, Vice Chairman of Regional College, and Dr. Bindu Sharma, Director General, inaugurated the festivities by lighting a ceremonial lamp and offering Saraswati Vandana.
The students showcased their unwavering commitment to environmental protection through a range of impactful activities like engaging lectures on tree planting programs, and lively nukkad natak addressing environmental issues and pollution. These initiatives not only sparked awareness but also inspired fellow students to actively participate in this meaningful campaign.
A true highlight of the event was the tree plantation program, where students from both institutions came together in a display of unity and determination. The Principal expressed profound appreciation for the students’ remarkable contribution to environmental protection.
The event was graced by distinguished personalities including the HOD’s of all engineering departments, Dr. Kedar Narayan Berwa, Eng. Madhumay Sen, Eng. Mahendra Saini, Eng. Saurabh Patni, Dr. Dharmendra Saxena, Dr. Mohit Gupta, Kumari Ashwini, Dr. Renu Saxena, Assistant Professor Radheshyam Singh Sikarwar, and Nitisha Bhargava, who lent their support to this noble cause.
