Seminar Organized to Explore Career Opportunities in the Aviation Sector

The University of Technology recently organized a seminar for the students in which they were explained about the career opportunities in the aviation industry. Mr. Anand Mishra (Chairman of Blue Hadal) was invited as the chief guest for the seminar. He holds 25 years of experience in the field of Pilot training and motivated the students to explore career opportunities and be a part of the dynamic aviation industry. Dr. Anshu Surana Sir (Vice-Chairman, UOT) warmly greeted Mr.Anand Mishra and invited him to share his experience regarding career options in the field of aviation. All the students and faculty members witnessed a memorable moment when MOU was signed between the University of Technology and Blue Hadal for aviation-related courses.

Mr. Anand Mishra addressing the students explained how Blue Hadal is a premier aviation institute that has introduced the most successful model of industrial and academic collaboration. The institute offers a One Year Certificate program in Aviation, Hospitality, and Tourism and thus, generating a good number of skilled and trained professionals to fulfill the manpower requirements of this industry both domestic and international level. As per the MOU signed, the University of Technology will be running professional courses such as B.B.A. in Aviation, Hospitality and Tourism and B.Sc. in Aviation.

The course will impart necessary technical knowledge and practical exposure to the students by the industry experts which will boost their career. In addition to this, it was also told that approximately around 1 lakh employment opportunities will be generated in the coming years. The students who have enrolled in the course will be trained and get flying experience in the Philippines. For example, 200 hrs.of commercial pilot training will be provided to the students under the guidance of experts in the Philippines.

Moreover, the students after completing the course can apply in IAF and can help themselves to secure a high paying job. Further, it was also discussed that not simply pursuing an aviation course is enough to get a job in this sector but the quality of the training institute from which the course is pursued also plays a great role in the successful career building in the aviation sector. The UOT has been approved and recognized for the diverse aviation course and according to UGC norms, experienced as well as freshers’ or 12th pass out students can apply for the course. Dr. Anshu Surana Sir gave a Vote of Thanks and motivated the students to explore career options in the aviation sector apart from the traditional employment sectors.
