Live Session by Dr. Praveena Nair and Mr. Syam Gopi under the webinar series ‘Be Future Leader-Post COVID-19’

The second day of the webinar series ‘Be Future Leader-Post COVID-19’ was entirely dedicated to Robotic technology and Artificial Intelligence and discussions were carried out on how emerging technologies in the future can help individuals to excel in their business and career path. The session on the second day (4th June 2020) was addressed by Dr. Praveena Nair (Cambridge University Center Head, Kerala and Sr. Instructional Designer, Inker Robotic Solutions) and Mr. Syam Gopi (Senior Content Strategic Developer, Inker Robotic Solutions). Both of them were warmly welcomed by Prem Surana Sir (Chairperson, Deepshikha Group) and Dr. Anshu Surana Sir (Chairperson, UOT). The webinar was coordinated by Dr. Reema Singh and Dr. Reeta Bisht. 

The speakers recognized that digitalization is the need of the hour and therefore the present time can be recognized as digital age 4.0. Students, business persons, and professionals across the country joined the seminar and benefited from the discussion on diverse topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain technology, System Integrated Analysis, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Autonomous Robotics, Human Assisted Robotics, and Cyber Security. Experts from these areas will be in high demand in the future. Moreover, advancements in Robotics and related techniques were identified by the experts due to changes in the habit of people and to safeguard themselves from crises like COVID-19. 

In addition to this, Dr. Anshu Surana Sir also expressed his view in the webinar session and emphasized the need to be technologically updated post-COVID-19. In the future, there will be high demand for technically skilled and trained individuals and therefore, employers should recruit employees as per their intelligence level. Although the post-COVID crisis, employment opportunities will reduce in some sectors but this will potentially grow in the Healthcare sector. In addition to this, the key speaker also explained that advancement in robotic technology will bring transformative change in sectors like agriculture, infrastructure, Construction, Medical, and Education. Thus, human life will completely change through such innovation and transformation. 

The overwhelming response of the participant was highly motivating as the number of participants joining the webinar was continuously rising. Therefore, live streaming for the webinar was also made available. Participants cleared their doubts and queries in the Question-Answer session. Thus, it was concluded that technological advancement post-COVID-19 along with upgrading the skills is the only way to lay the foundation for a successful future.
