The University of Technology under the school of engineering and technology offers 4-years of bachelors in technology in electronics and telecommunication. Telecommunication engineering is a blend of computer and electronics. They seek to enhance the telecommunication systems. Telecommunication engineers works on designing and overseeing the installation of telecommunication equipment’s and facilities such as complex electronic switch system, copper wire telephone facilities, optical fibre cabling, IP data systems, and terrestrial radio link systems. State of the art lab facilities are provided at U.O.T for students aiming to build a career telecommunication engineers. Eligibility criteria is intermediate schooling from the streams of science and maths.
