Interactive session by Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma under the webinar series ‘Be Future Leader-Post COVID-19’

Recently, the University of Technology organized a 2 Days Webinar on 3rd and 4th June 2020 on the topic ‘Be Future Leader-Post COVID-19’ where experts from the education sector expressed their views regarding the digital transformation of the education system post-COVID-19. Moreover, those individuals who are hands-on with technology, the post-COVID-19 period will bring golden opportunities to them and not only the course opted by students, the institutions will also play a vital role in the long term success of the students. The live session on 3rd June was taken by Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma and he was warmly welcomed by Prem Surana Sir (Chairman, UOT) and Dr. Anshu Surana Sir (Vice-President, Deepshikha Kala Sansthan). 

The webinar was highly engaging and a lot of students, business people, and scholars attended this live session. With more than 4500 registrations, the webinar became one of the most successful academic events through online medium. The key speaker for the session was Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma who is currently Pro-Chancellor Vijaybhoomi University, Karjat, Mumbai since October 2017. He is also a leading technocrat who has exceptional managerial and administrative skills and is also the Ex-Director General (NIELIT –India) and Former Director (Technical) – Rajcomp Info Services Ltd. The session started at sharp 11 AM and the topic of discussion was ‘Opportunities in the Education System leading to Employment after COVID-19’.

The dignitaries and the speakers at the webinar expressed their views in the different sessions regarding the education and job scenario post-COVID-19. Thus, it was concluded that there is great scope for professionals who are technically skilled, and such individuals can provide assistance in the successful digital transformation of the education sector. Moreover, it was also analyzed that to be successful in the future, it is important to identify the existing skills and capabilities so that we can develop the necessary abilities that will enable us to tap the future opportunities. 

The webinar received an amazing response from the participants and more and more participants were joining the webinar. As a result, live streaming for the webinar was also started. Thus, the webinar boosted the confidence of the attendees and motivated them to develop their skills and talent to explore the best of future opportunities after Coronavirus Pandemic.
