-To get into this course some entrance exams are organized, any one of which have to be cracked by the students. Like: DU B.ED, IPU CET, RIE CEE, UP B.ED JEE etc.

-Admissions are given on the basis of scores achieved in the entrance exam, followed by counselling session whereas, some institutions provides admission on merit-basis the scores candidates received in their graduation or post graduation degree.
