School of Religion
The University of Technology believes that religious education makes a major contribution to the school curriculum by developing pupils’ knowledge and understanding of religion, religious beliefs, practices, language and traditions and their influence on individuals, communities, societies, and cultures. It equips students with cultural, social, moral and spiritual knowledge that aids in physical development and mental well-being of society. The course focuses on religious education which helps to prepare students for experiences, responsibilities, and opportunities later in life. Therefore the School of Religion is one of the ways to reach out to the religion and culture. The idea behind making it a part of the curriculum is not only to teach students but also to retain the roots of the Indian culture.
“By education, I mean an all-round drawing of the best in child and man in body, mind, and spirit.”
